Founded in 1988, The Fredericksburg Festival of the Arts (FFA) has evolved from a small, annual world-renown chamber music festival to a premier presenter of the performing arts in the Rappahannock Region of Virginia.

Our mission statement : "The Fredericksburg Festival of the Arts exists to promote, provide and preserve the highest quality of the performing arts for all."  Our goal is to present to the region the highest quality performances in theater, dance and highly diverse musical repertoire from classical to jazz to blue grass.  We are a volunteer organization, pursuing these endeavors with the generous support of our members and sponsoring individuals, businesses and organizations.

The Fredericksburg Festival of the Arts recently celebrated its signature Chamber Music Festival and the "Rockin' Around the Clock" Gala and Auction.  Earlier in the year, the 2010 Young Artist Competition winners were announced at the conclusion of the Finals Competition Concert (visit the news page for more information on the competition & winners).
